Your Hero

The ten races, the six attributes, training, equipment slots and item rarities from Common to Legendary — everything that shapes a hero of Vashrath.

No classes. Only choices.

Vashrath does not ask you to be a warrior, a mage or a rogue. There are no classes. Your hero is shaped by three things: the race you awaken as, the attributes you train, and the gear you earn. Two heroes of the same race can grow into completely different fighters — one a wall of armor and blocks, another a whirlwind of critical strikes. The build is yours to invent.

The ten races

Ten peoples walk the Forgotten Realms: Human, Dwarf, Elf, Orc, Undead, Beast, Dragon, Dark, Construct and Spirit. Each carries its own heritage and inclinations — the stubborn resilience of the Dwarves, the grace of the Elves, the raw ferocity of the Orcs, the unsettling endurance of the Undead, and so on across the stranger bloodlines that the portal dragged into Vashrath.

Race gives your hero a starting identity and flavor, but it does not lock your path. Whatever you awaken as, every attribute, craft and piece of equipment in the realm remains open to you.

The six attributes

Everything your hero does in combat flows from six trainable attributes:

  • Strength — the weight of your blows. It drives your damage and sharpens your ability to land critical strikes.
  • Skill — the discipline of a trained fighter. It hardens your armor and helps your attacks find their mark.
  • Agility — reflex and footwork. It raises your chance to block and slip away from harm.
  • Vitality — the depth of your health. The more you have, the longer you stand.
  • Charisma — presence and battle instinct. A commanding fighter finds openings others miss, sometimes striking twice where one blow was expected.
  • Intelligence — a sharp mind on the field. It strengthens the healing you receive and blunts the critical strikes of your enemies.

There is no wrong attribute — only different heroes. A newcomer does well training broadly at first, then leaning into the style that suits them.

Training

Attributes grow at the Training hall, paid in gold. Each point costs a little more than the last, so growth is a constant appetite for coin — one more reason to hunt, quest and trade. You can train one point at a time or several at once. Training reflects immediately in your combat numbers: raise Strength and watch your damage climb on the spot.

Equipment

Your hero has eight equipment slots: helm, chest, gloves, boots, shield, weapon, ring and necklace. Every piece you wear feeds your combat stats, and a well-assembled kit easily rivals many training sessions.

Gear comes in tiers — bands of quality that accompany your level. As you grow, higher-tier equipment appears in shops, spoils and the market, and each step up is a noticeable leap in power. Keep your kit close to your level: outdated gear is the most common reason a hero starts losing fights.

One warning worth remembering: once you equip a piece, it becomes bound to you. A bound item is yours forever — it can never be sold or traded to another player. Try before you tie.

Rarities: Common to Legendary

Every item carries a rarity, told at a glance by the color of its name:

Rarity Color
Common White
Magic Green
Rare Blue
Epic Purple
Legendary Golden

Rarity is more than a color. A Common item is plain, honest steel — no surprises. From Magic upward, items are touched by an affix: an additional property etched into the piece, from extra attributes to rarer combat gifts. The higher the rarity, the stronger the item's foundation and the more valuable its affix tends to be. Some affixes belong to a family — wear enough pieces of the same family and a set bonus awakens on top of everything else.

Legendary finds are the talk of taverns for good reason: they are the strongest expressions of their tier, and the market pays accordingly.

Putting it together

Race gives you a story. Attributes give you a style. Equipment gives you an edge. When the three pull in the same direction — training that feeds your strategy, gear whose affixes reinforce it — your hero stops being a survivor of the Forgotten Realms and starts being a name in them.
