Heidr is one of the Three Greats, the unseen lords of the valleys. He is not spoken of as a man of flesh and blood, but as a spiritual leader: they say no one has ever seen him. And yet, around the fires of the camps, there is always someone whispering that this or that soldier once crossed his path.
He embodies the creed of the North — the conviction that strength and a courage that never retreats are enough to bend the world. To swear Heidr in the Faction Oath is to swear that faith, and to carry it into every fight that follows.

Mysteries
No one knows whether Heidr is a man, a legend, or something in between. The accounts of sightings are rare and never confirmed. His origin, his face, and his very physical existence remain open questions — part of the mythic nature of the Three Greats, which the chronicles of Vashrath preserve without ever resolving.
There is even a whisper that Serena, leader of the Wanderers, once bested him in battle. The North scoffs at it; the Wanderers smile at it. Like everything else about the Greats, it has never been proven — and perhaps that is exactly how a legend stays alive.
